KATHMANDU, MAY 21 -
India's new Prime Minister elect Narendra Modi has invited Prime Minister Sushil Koirala to attend his swearing in ceremony in New Delhi on May 26.
PM Koirala is among some 3,000 dignitaries who have been invited to
attend the function. Heads of all SAARC nations, including Pakistani PM
Nawaz Sharif, are invited to take part in the gala swearing-in ceremony
of Modi.
Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party had claimed a landslide victory in the
just-concluded polls winning 272 in the 543-member Lok Sabha.
Modi called on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday after he
was unanimously elected leader of the BJP parliamentary party.
