KATHMANDU, MAY 15 -
CPN-UML senior leader KP Oli , currently undergoing treatment at Bangkok-based Bumrungrad International Hospital, has written to another senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and expressed his 'sadness' over the ailing health condition of the latter.
Sending an email, Oli has wished for the speedy recovery of Nepal's
health condition. Nepal was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of
Bir Hospital in the Capital on Wednesday where he is now receiving
treatment for pneumonia.
Oli has also written about his improving condition in the email.
Oli, who returned home after a month-long treatment in New Delhi, was
admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital following fever and
vomiting. Hospital reports had confirmed that Oli was suffering from
meningitis following which he was flown to Bangkok for treatment.
After Oli was flown to Bangkok, Nepal, referring to the sick leader,
had remarked that an ailing leader cannot handle the leadership of the
party during a programme. Oli and Nepal are in fray to claim the
leadership of the party after the ninth general convention scheduled
from July 3-9 in Kathmandu .
