KATHMANDU, MAY 02 -
A superb bowling performance from Nepali bowlers bundled out hosts Malaysia for 149 runs in their ACC Premier League tournament at Bayuemas Oval in Kula Lumpur on Friday.
After being asked to bowl first, Nepali bowlers captilaised well on the
bowling conditions dismissing the Malaysian side for mere 149 runs in
43 overs.
Sompal Kami was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up five wickets
giving away 47 runs in his allotted 10 overs. Spinner Basanta Regmi also
picked up two wickets.
In their first game yesterday, Nepal had overcome Associate archrivals
United Arab Emirates by four wickets in a game played at the Selangor
Turf Club in Malaysia to avenge the loss at the ICC Cricket World Cup
Qualifiers in January.
