JHAPA, APR 16 -
An unidentified group has murdered an elderly woman in Jhapa district on Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Tara Rajbanshi, 70, of Charpane-6.
The group comprising 10 people murdered Tara attacking with sharp weapon.
Similarly, Mina, daughter-in-law of the deceased was critically injured in the incident.
Critically injured Mina is undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, according to the Area Police Office, Birtamod.
Police have started further investigation by arresting Jogendra
Rajbanshi of Dangibari, suspecting his involvement in the incident.
The body has been brought to Mechi Zonal Hospital, Bhadrapur, for postmortem.
