KATHMANDU, FEB 28 -
Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey has said the promulgation of a democratic constitution will usher in political stability in the country.
Speaking at a programme held at Koteswar Multiple Campus on Friday
morning, he said the present government should also prioritise
maintaining law and order and issues of freedom along with the drafting
of the new constitution.
On the occasion, Minister Pandey also appealed to students and teachers
to stop acts of padlocking and closing down educational institutions.
"A lock of 10 rupee value can prove costly for educational development
for 10 years", he said.
Foreign Minister Pandey is the Chair of the Campus Board of Directors and Founding member of the Campus.
Campus Chief Govinda Karki, Vice-chairman of the Board of Directors
Nawaraj Parajuli and other speakers expressed happiness over the
appointment of the founding member of the Campus as the Foreign Minister
of the country and wished him a successful term.
