DHANGADHI, MAY 20 -
The CPN-UML Kailali district committee and the Constituency Committee
have recommended three possible candidates from the party for the
by-election in Kailali Constituency No. 6.
The candidates recommended are Maheshwar Pathak, Nepalu Chaudhary and Sushila Budhathoki, party sources said.
Similarly, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) district committee has
recommended Ganga Ram Rana, Madan Sijapati and Gokarna Prasad Poudel as
possible candidates, said Birendra Bam, district party secretary.
Likewise, Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal has recommended Rajesh Bhandari as the party candidate.
Likewise, Forum Democratic is also in the process of recommending the
names of possible candidates, said Gaya Prasad Kushmi, district party
vice-chairman.
UCPN (Maoist) has not recommended the names of its party candidates yet
but the party leaders Lekha Raj Bhatta and Hari Chaudhary are in the
list of possible candidates.
Likewise, the Nepali Congress is scheduled to recommend the name of
possible candidates after holding party district committee's meeting on
Wednesday, said Narnarayan Shah, district party president.
However, it is learnt that Kishor Bahadur Bam, Pushkar Nath Ojha,
Narnarayan Shah, Narayan Dutta Bhatta and Uttam Bahadur Kathayat are the
possible candidates.
The Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba vacated the
constituency as he was elected from two constituencies in constituent
assembly (CA) election held last November. RSS
